Nepal in particular for the post earthquake imagery I understand that if you sit in a darkened room for a few hours, crank up the contrast of the image, walk Widdershins round the computer three times you can extract more detail.
It's very labour intensive but can be done. The question then becomes is there any area that this sort of treatment would be of more value than another? Thanks John
