HI all,
To follow up on Dale Kunce’s announcement of OSMGeoWeek 2015, the OSMGeoWeek website <http://osmgeoweek.org> has been refreshed to include an initial list of events and mapping projects for this year! Please spread the word to every school, community group, and organization you know. And sign up to add your own event using the Google Form: http://goo.gl/forms/bBI3pQ1IE6 Also, NEXT WEEK, on October 14 from 11-12pm EDT, MapGive and the Peace Corps are sponsoring an online workshop <http://map.diasporaalliance.org/#opportunities/129> to introduce diaspora members to OpenStreetMap. This is part of Global Diaspora Week, http://www.diasporaalliance.org/, a global series of engagements sponsored in part by the Department of State and USAID. The direct link to the EventBrite is here <http://diasporamapping.eventbrite.com>. Check it out and again, please spread the word. Best, Benson http://mapgive.state.gov
