We just shared a blog post announcing the launch of the 2016 HOT Board of Directors and Chair for the Voting Members election (https://hotosm.org/updates/2016-03-23_hot_2016_annual_meeting_and_elections ). HOT is a growing organization and we would like to take this moment to share more about HOT and about the upcoming elections. HOT has a number of community roles <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Humanitarian_OSM_Team#Community_Types_an d_Roles> and activities, including the various Working Groups <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Humanitarian_OSM_Team/Working_groups> . Every year we also seek members to help grow the organizational leadership. Members <https://hotosm.org/voting-members> are eligible to run for formal roles like Board Members or Membership Chair. They abide by the Membership Code of Conduct <http://hotosm.org/sites/default/files/HOT_Membership_Code.pdf> and are eligible to nominate candidates as well as vote in the elections.
