Just a comment it might be nice if some more validation could be organised.
I've just picked up 845 highway=road from one inexperienced HOT mapper, about fifty ways tagged both building=yes and highway=road. Although Blake did a nice job cleaning up 500 duplicates buildings but Malawi still has some 4,805 duplicate buildings that need sorting out sometime.
