Hi, The webinars kicked off today with great presentations from #LetGirlsMap Unique Mappers Team in Nigeria, the GeoChicas in Latin America, and Crowd2Map in Tanzania. All the presentations shared examples of the ways in which their projects have both been affected by, and tried to address issues of social gender norms in the communities they work in, and the ways in which these are affecting the participation of women and girls in mapping.
