Dear community,

The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team is pleased to inform you about the release
of Tasking Manager version 4. It comes with a number of great improvements
for collaborative mapping in OpenStreetMap:

   -

   iD editor integrated
   -

A new look and a fresh frontend implementation
   -

Introduction of a teams concept, for better permission handling
   -

   Support for vector tiles

All improvements are detailed in the blog post [1] and the release notes
[2]. The source code is now available in the repository [3] for everybody
to check out and install.

The new Tasking Manager is already available in 14 languages. Please help
us to improve the translations or add your native language, by joining the
translation teams on Transifex [4].

On May 6 2020, the new version will be launched on the HOT Tasking Manager
[5]. We expect a longer downtime while doing all the migrations, so please
consider using the TeachOSM Tasking Manager [6] for mapping during this
very day.

Many thanks to everybody involved!

Have fun.

Felix
