Hi all!
*On 5 November 1,131* published HOT Tasking Manager projects will be
archived in bulk. Each of the projects that will be archived has a
message in the questions and comments section from me notifying the
project creator that their project will be archived.
These projects are being archived as part of a recurring Tasking Manager
project gardening process
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Humanitarian_OSM_Team/Working_groups/Data_Quality_Control_and_Assurance/Tasking_Manager_Project_Gardening_2024>
whereby the Tasking Manager is cleaned up of old or redundant projects.
Any published projects that are either:
* Created before January 1, 2023
* Are still set to Maxar imagery (which has not been available for
over a year)
... are set to be automatically archived on 5 November.
If you anticipate that active and meaningful mapping will continue your
project that is set to be archived, please contact
*[email protected]* to request that your project(s) not be
archived.
Archiving will not delete your project, so you and the public will still
be able to access it.
Otherwise you can wait until after 5 November and re-publish the project
after it is archived but please ensure that the instructions, imagery,
metadata and permissions are up to date.
