I don't think the project and the project comments are still available. Building=tomb gets picked up as a warning in JOSM validation. I think there are only 9,600 occurrences in taginfo and most of those would appear to be in Madagascar.
It's probably an idea to document it in OSM features so that they don't get "altered" by someone using JOSM or arrange for JOSM validation to ignore them.
