This typical 'hesitation' to discuss/acknowledge any non-centrist artwork
is characteristic of the old Artworld. (Responses from those in the larger
world are inevitably more spirited, insightful and useful.) Many heavily
'moderated/censured' artlists (such as nettime and rhizome) are merely
recreating the (failed) hierarchical, incestuous, blinkered-authority of
Art-Academia and the Artworld. The 12hr-project is a continuous project
that requires updates; its points of accessibility shift. It feels no
compunction to merely-illustrate the latest sanctioned, theoretical
fashion, in order to preen its way into privileged Art Discourse; (ie.,
post-rhetorical.)
