I only have one tattoo - a portrait of my first Dobe, in full color,
and slightly larger than life size - covering pretty much all of my
back. I was quoted 10 hours - 10 one hour sessions - but in fact most
of it was done in the first session, which lasted 6 and a half hours.
There were two later sessions, supposedly an hour each but in fact
shorter, to finish it off and touch it up a bit. After the first half
hour or so, there was no pain - as far as I was concerned, he could
have gone on all day, it wouldn't have made any difference to me - but
the artist eventually got tired and had to stop.

It's diffifult to guess how long Logan's took - while it's all one
color and just outlines, filled in, there's a real skill in placing
the outlines so that the overall effect looks right - especially with
a tattoo as all-embracing and complicated as Logan's. It''s not
completely symmetrical, you really need to study it. I think it would
have taken a lot longer than you might expect, at first glance.

In films, his tattoo is fantastic - it emphasises every movement he
makes - it's extraordinarily erotic to watch.
