------------- The client is one of the big oil companies in the Galleria area. Sogeti had a very talented CF developer at the client site, but recently had some life changes and he left quite suddenly. So there has not a new Sogeti Job Description created yet. But there is the immediate need and they hope to start interviewing this week. I can tell you as much as I know about the project. It is just one application. It is an older application created with CF 6 with an Oracle back end. It is a budget managing application that several departments use. The programmer would have to be familiar with the older version of CF and be a very knowledgeable Oracle developer. The application gathers data from 3 other databases and combines them in reports for the users. This would be a full time position with Sogeti. Sogeti is a subsidiary of Cap Gemini, with excellent benefits. I don't know the exact pay rate. But it is usually between $65 and $85k, depending on the experience level.
