The rate during contract period of 3 - 6 months will 45 - 50/hr on 1099 basis. The salary range will be 65 -80K after converting to client payroll. COLD FUSION MX programmer Job Description . Responsible for the programming and subsequent enhancement of a web application used for reporting for environmental, health and safety managers at industrial facilities. . Database design and SQL Scripting for our web application . Programming and design of a new application to manage web based real time emissions reporting from industrial facilities. . Develops detailed system design, test plans and programming specifications on assigned project. . Provides technical support on the various modules of the application. . Regularly meets with the IT project lead to review progress and problems related to the job. . Will work with IT project lead to independently develop and implement the system. . Will produce technical documentation, and design and tests systems and/or system changes accurately to insure system efficiency, integrity, productivity and maintainability. . Provide post-implementation support and develop future, iterative system releases. . Conducts some maintenance on IT systems, including server back-ups, software installations, and hardware integration (RAIDS, replication servers, etc.) Requirements: . At least 3 years of Cold Fusion and Java Script experience . 3+ years in client-side web development . Superior knowledge of SQL server (2 years experience) including writing stored procedures, triggers . Degree in Computer Science or related field. . Strong understanding of user-interface design (please provide examples) . Strong documentation and debugging skills . Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills plus the ability to complete work with minimal guidance and supervision. . Candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team . Knowledge of Client-server concepts, (3 tier architecture concepts preferred). . Some knowledge of and experience with supporting IT systems (servers, data backups, software installs, etc.) Nice to have requirements: . Experience with COM programming (Component Object Model) .
