This is a known issue with ColdFusion, and affects even version 8, I
believe.  It's not as much of a problem on a production system where changes
are less frequent, but in development it can be a hassle.

Dave Shuck, who manages the Dallas/Fort Worth ColdFusion User's
Group, blogged about a workaround awhile back that uses the undocumented
ServiceFactory:
