Greetings, Wednesday, May 28th - the topic will be "2.0: Building the Community, Part II - This will be the second in a series of hands-on events where we will discuss, plan, and build a "collaborative community"website.
We will be doing a continuation on last month's theme, Building The Community. We will summarize last month's meeting, and talk about the infrastructure and technologies we chose to support development and why, and then we will jump right in to setting up a collaborative development environment end-to-end, from creating a code repository at a service provider to setting up a local development environment for a collaborative project, using best practices. We will deploy an open source ColdFusion project as our initial codebase, and will be contributing our improvements back, as they are completed and tested. For anyone interested in learning about using ColdFusion with Subversion, or collaborating within and across groups, this meeting will be HUGE!
