Our intrepid manager Seth is busy with a new baby at home, so our next bit of CFUG will tend to the casual side. Wednesday, August 20th, please join us for an informal meeting-- one in our long line of increasingly erroneously named "2nd Annual BeerFUG" meetings. Meet at 7pm at the Richmond Arms, 5920 Richmond Ave. ( www.richmondarmsonline.com).
If it's not too scorching or raining, check the patio first, otherwise we'll be inside. Our round-table discussion will begin with *The Testing Problem* -- how do you handle it when beta-testers, stakeholders, and/or customers don't help out with testing as you need them to? The last time we discussed it a few years ago, members had some great suggestions about error logging, user logging, automation, and more. The conversation will, of course, range widely from that starting point. Tentative plan for September's meeting is a demonstration of setting up a machine with multiple CF instances that share a single Apache or IIS installation. This makes for easier separation of different projects, customers, and applications. Of course, any suggestions for other or additional topics for this month or next should be emailed to [email protected] - let's hear some ideas!
