Subject: [houcfug] HouCFUG October meeting - Oct. 29 - Multiple CF instances on
one machine

Greetings,

Wednesday, October 29th - the topic will be multiple CF instances on one machine

Chris Champion will present Get the Surf AND Turf - multiple CF instances on
one machine.

You may have read about multiple-instance ColdFusion before but thought it was
of little use to you.
You're wrong! Multiple instances can be useful whether you're setting up a
development machine as a
freelancer or fine-tuning a production cluster for high performance. This
session will cover:

* Setup - how to set up several ColdFusion instances on one machine, all
sharing the same
webserver software.
* Usage - how these multiple instances can be used-- emulate different
servers, different
customers, different application versions, and more.
* Deployment - using the ColdFusion Archive & Deploy tools to encapsulate
and distribute an
application safely.

Agenda

* 6:00 - Meet and Greet (general munching of food initiates here too)
* 6:15 - Chris Champion - multiple CF instances on one machine
* 7:15 - Q&A
* 7:30 - venue clears out
