Just a reminder, we are meeting at MSoft World Headquarters tonight, at 6pm!
We have a great speaker/topic, and some cool prizes to give out, so be there if you can! You can find a map to mSoft at http://houcfug.org See You There! Seth Greetings, the topic will be multiple CF instances on one machine Chris Champion will present Get the Surf AND Turf - multiple CF instances on one machine. You may have read about multiple-instance ColdFusion before but thought it was of little use to you. You're wrong! Multiple instances can be useful whether you're setting up a development machine as a freelancer or fine-tuning a production cluster for high performance. This session will cover: * Setup - how to set up several ColdFusion instances on one machine, all sharing the same webserver software. * Usage - how these multiple instances can be used-- emulate different servers, different customers, different application versions, and more. * Deployment - using the ColdFusion Archive & Deploy tools to encapsulate and distribute an application safely. Agenda * 6:00 - Meet and Greet (general munching of food initiates here too) * 6:15 - Chris Champion - multiple CF instances on one machine * 7:15 - Q&A * 7:30 - venue clears out Location: Once again we'd like to thank Mike Demahy for this month's meeting location: MSoft World Headquarters 5433 Westheimer, Ste. 590 Houston, TX 77056 http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q <http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=5433+Westheimer,+Houston+Tx&sll=29.738858,-95.4132 83&sspn=0.001609,0.003079&ie=UTF8&z=17> &hl=en&geocode=&q=5433+Westheimer,+Houston+Tx&sll=29.738858,-95.413283&sspn=0.001609,0.003079&ie=UTF 8&z=17 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the "Houston ColdFusion Users' Group" discussion list.
