Hiya again..I realize this isn't a Cold Fusion question, but since I believe some of you have worked with the IIS SMTP service before.
Sometimes I have to go through a log file from the SMTP service to check on the status of a client's email, and usually I use Excel for this. But Excel is a little inadequate especially when you have to go wading through thousands of entries. I've been looking around for a log viewer, but I'd like some recommendations. It needs to work with W3C-style log files, and if it is a desktop application, it needs to run on Windows. I just want to be able to filter by IP or email address or whatever - I am not interested in fancy features like summary reports. (For example, I've looked at Sawmill but it's really overkill for what I want.) I also don't want to deal with having to import log files into SQL, as some log viewers seem to require.
