We both are using the free one. I suppose you do get what you pay for. :)

Is your friend using the free google apps or the one you pay for? I have heard
and sometimes seen issues with the free one but not with the paid one.

I use google apps for 3 of my domains and I love it. You change the mx records
on your dns server so the email comes from
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.

I have heard of service issues and such from a friend but I've never
experienced any issues.

Thanks for the info. Does your email show as coming from
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> or does it come from
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ?

Subject: [houcfug] mail server?

hey guys,

Our corporate mail server (iMail) is very long in the tooth and badly needs
replacing. Does anyone have a recommendations for a mail server for a company
of 45 +/- people, all of whom work remotely? All our servers are hosted
off-site. I don't think the powers-that-be will pony up for Exchange Server,
nor do I think they should. There has to be something smaller, cheaper ad
easier to maintain.

Thanks
