Hi Selma, I've been using FCK for many years now and I have noticed this behavior as well. In fact, sometimes I see FCK cut it at 32K characters (v2.4.2), but normally it's 64K as you discovered. Note - not only does FCK limit the characters, but it will cleanly remove rows from a table instead of just truncating the source. For example, I had a table with 200 rows of data. FCK saved it with only 165 rows of data (cut some off the end), but it still retained the closing tbody & table tags. Hmmm.... it looked fine on the screen, but when it came time to verify everything, we discovered this little surprise. I use SQL Server 2005 for a back end, but I've seen this happen with text files as well. If you really want to test this, I suggest setting up a basic HTML page with the editor and loading a text file without any tags, just characters spaces. This will cross out CF & database as suspects pretty fast. At the time I could not find anything in the documentation about this, but we worked around it and it hasn't been too big of an issue. The problem/limitation is definitely within FCK somewhere, if you have strong _javascript_ skills (or a person who likes that kind of coding), it is an open source project... I wish I had an answer for you but I've never had enough time to run down this limitation, and web searches did not help at all (which you may have discovered already as well). Good luck! Please post back if you discover anything, I'd be curious for any information as we use FCK in quite a few apps. -James Delgado, Selma wrote:
