I was playing around with this when I remembered there were a ton of really great grid plugins for jquery. Makes things a big easier and faster if you use the json fed ones.

I am using a cfgrid, for one of the columns I need to have a dropdown. I have seen on the adobe site that you can use the cfgridcolumn attribute to set up a dropdown, but it doesn’t seem to be working the way I want it to. I have a table with a PK ID and a flight name. In the main table (the source of the grid)if has a column for flight which stores the FlightID FK. So in the cfgrid I want it to do the following In display mode, show the Flight Name not the Flight ID In edit mode, have a dropdown with all available Flights showing the Flight Names, but storing the Flight ID. I have been searching everywhere I can think of and I have not seen a solution.
