Worth noting that Sharepoint isn't a stand-alone product, but is an
application sitting atop the Microsoft "stack" (OS, .NET, SQL Server, etc).
I'm not sure that it's entirely accurate to refer to the "Adobe stack", as
ColdFusion is an application server that binds together all the various
pieces of the puzzle (vis-a-vis a "stack" of puzzle pieces from a
vendor/platform). You can even invoke Sharepoint web services via
<cfsharepoint>

Sharepoint is designed to address specific business problems - otherwise you
wouldn't see non-Sharepoint MS solutions. So to compare CF solutions that
addressed solutions Sharepoint couldn't wouldn't be fair.. that'd be the
greater majority of CF applications. Rather, I think it would be interesting
to look at specific business problems that Sharepoint traditionally handles,
and see how CF outperforms or falls short. It'd be perfect if anyone has
been part of a CF-to-Sharepoint or vice versa rollout.

A demonstration of <cfsharepoint> would be awesome as well.

Are you local Oskar? If so, I'm sure you'd be a great fit to talk about your
experiences with Sharepoint and CF. Feel free to contact myself or Eddie
off-list if you'd like.
