Our next meeting will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011. We'll be having it at the
usual place and time: 6:00 PM, Bank of America Building, 1020 Holcombe
Blvd., Suite 8.830, Houston, TX, 77030.

We'll be talking about mobile development. Want to build mobile apps to
target Android, iPhone, and other platforms? Don't want to have to use
Objective-C or Java? No problem! The PhoneGap platform allows you to build
*native* mobile apps that can be deployed to those platforms, via the App
Store, Android Marketplace, etc. You can do this without having to learn a
new set of skills - you can reuse your existing skills in HTML, JavaScript,
jQuery, and more. That also means we can build service-driven apps with our
backends in ColdFusion.

In this meeting we'll build a small app for the iPhone, with a ColdFusion
back-end. What app would that be? It'll be a Raffle app of course.. to
raffle off our semi-annual free software give-away! This is pretty much
anything Adobe offers (with the exception of the Master Collection).

The new Dreamweaver CS 5.5 offers integration into PhoneGap .. if time
allows we'll illustrate how it can make your development process even
faster.

Our meeting will be sponsored by Paladin, a full-featured resource for
meeting all of your staffing needs. They will be providing food and drinks.
