Our next meeting will be Wednesday, September 18. We'll be covering an intro to jQuery. In case you don't know, jQuery is a lightweight way of writing cross-browser JavaScript, and has a rich ecosystem of libraries and plugins that accompany it. If you're like me, you probably have worked with jQuery but just kinda dived in and made code work based on examples you've seen online, and haven't looked back. We'll try to take a look at it from the basics, and you might find there's some things you missed along the way. :-) Of course we'll focus on using jQuery from the ColdFusion perspective.
The meeting will be at Paladin's office, and they will providing food and drinks. As always, please RSVP at www.houcfug.org, even to let us know you're not attending, so Paladin can plan properly.
