I could not agree more. I have seen highly experienced technicians and managers dilute into unpalatability a resume that should have knocked socks off by reciting the platitudinous garbage most folks claim they're after in their "objective". If you must write an objective (e.g., you happen to know the recipient has a personal feeling that resumes are worthless without an objective, and will only read the rest of the resume if the objective matches his/her needs, and throws away resumes lacking an objective), customize it for the position and employer. Generic objectives are as bad as form cover letters for convincing readers you have no idea who the employer is or what it is looking for. Good luck! --Chris _______________________________________________ Houston mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/houston Website: http://houston.pm.org/
