Well apparently I can post to the list now. I couldn't for the last week even though I was getting posts from the list.
Below is something I've been trying to post for a week now. Any comments? I recently changed ISP's from Earthlink to AT&T. With Earthlink a simple sendmail would work every time, no matter the From: or To: e-mail address: http://www.mflan.com/temp/sendmail5.txt With AT&T that script no longer works. After a long delay it says "Error sending mail: connect to smtp.att.yahoo.com failed (Unknown error)". Anyway, AT&T uses authentication. I understand I need to mimic that authentication. My question is, should I used SendMail, Mail::Mailer, or some other module for this? Is getting mail authentication to work a hard thing to do? I suspect so from what I am reading. It appears a lot of people have dedicated a lot of time to this subject with marginal results.
