I'm afraid I know next to nothing about mod_perl.
I checked and my scripts run with or without that
shebang you supply or any other shebang. My build
is from ActiveState.

That is what I have been led to believe, but when I remove the
"Windows" shebang from the first line, which is
#!c:/perl/bin/perl.exe
the script fails.
The path to Perl is OK. I linked *.cgi file types to Perl.exe. What
else do I need to do or not do?
