The March 12 Houston.pm technical meeting will be "How to Disagree - But Still Be Agreeable" with Robert Stone.
"A big part of being a technology expert or software developer in the real world are so called 'Soft Skills.' Being able to present your point of view, discuss a difference in opinion, and ultimately come to a compromise are key skills not just for job seekers but also for successful individuals in life!" This meeting will start at 7pm on March 12 at the cPanel offices (3131 W. Alabama St.: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=3131+W.+Alabama+St,+Houston,+TX&hl=en&z=17) As usual, we will collect in the lobby between 6:30pm and 7 and go up for the presentation. This talk should be a bit different than our regular fare, but I'm sure that Robert will make it entertaining. I look forward to seeing you there. G. Wade -- We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true. -- Robert Wilensky, UCB _______________________________________________ Houston mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/houston Website: http://houston.pm.org/
