Hi Rob, I understand. If the number of prints you're going to do is relatively low, then buying a Z serie might be too expensive. I guess then you'd have to read the post about making your own roll feed option. I don't know how much it will cost, new, but maybe making your own would be a good option. Unless of course someone out there has one for sale. Maybe eBay?
I wouldn't use the word inferior just yet for the 130. Using the right workflow, it will give you very good prints.
