In theory it should be possible. An HP representative on the Photokina booth thought the same. It is one of the things I will try when there is a Z3100 here. The RGB values of the targets should be available, I do not know whether that target is freely accessible in the normal package and/or the advanced color management solution. Another issue is the calibration as possible on the Z3100 / Z2100 but not on the Epson models you mention (ColorBase is for later generations). Before profile creation on the Z3100 I assume that one should do a calibration first, with the 5000 and 5500 it will be a more unknown condition you print the target in.
