Greetings all

I'm a designer working for a trade show decorating company. We have
presently a Designjet 2500CP that is still printing well, a good while
after its basic life expectancy (according to the HP service person
about a month ago), however, we are looking for a new printer as we
know this one is bound to die at some point, and we'd like to get some
improved capabilities.

I have been looking at the Z3100, or Z2100 particularly with the
rebate program going on now.

I have not found a specific answer on HP's website, or any of the
reviews I have read, nor anything in the message board here (if I
missed something, please forgive me).

One item we print in quantity are banners, they measure 36 inch wide
by 87 inches tall printed on Tyvek. Two things I would like to know,
1) Can we print full bleed on a 36 inch wide roll, 2) and can we print
images that are 87 inches or longer?

According to the spec sheet, the Tyvek is no problem, but borderless
printing is only on glossy roll media, and at least one place on the
website, it says image size is max of 60 inches (which of course, I
can't find now).

So any good suggestions on these? I appreciate any ideas and thoughts.

Ken Miller
