Hi, I was looking for suggestions for fine art paper for use in a DesignJet 130NR printer. I was able to try a roll of Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White 310 g but it ships on a 3 inch core roll as opposed to the 2 inch that the DJ130 uses.
I was able to load the roll but I ended up with feed problems. I then cut some paper from the roll and was feeding it from the front. Would I be better off trying to feed it from the rear? Or would I be better off adapting the 3 inch roll to fit on the DJ130's a 2 inch spindle? The 3 inch roll's circumference made feeding the paper off the roll a bit difficult. If I was able to get the circumference down (by loading the paper onto the empty 2 inch roll tubes from old HP rolls), it might load and feed easier. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Or does anyone have any paper recommendations for use with the DJ130? I am printing photographs with the printer.
