Hi there! This is your Group Owner Tony jumping in to thank you all for making this e-group a wonderful group and community of HP Designjet users and owners!
Its been fun setting up and running this E-group since it started in Feb 9, 2002, and it's really been remarkable to see how quickly we've grown. I've really enjoyed serving the group as owner and moderator, however I'd like to extend an invitation to anyone out there who would like to serve this E-Group as Moderator. It's simple job really. All you have to do is to make sure that the New membership applications and the messages that are posted to the group are approved. Basically, your main job is to make sure that porn or SPAM doesn't make it onto the legitimate message traffic. Marty Markoe, Craig Sutherland, Bob Wise, and Andrew Hall have been doing sterling service as group moderatotors and I really think they deserve a round of applause and thanks for all that they have done for this e-group. This group should have at least 4-5 moderators. Since we are such an international bunch it would be nice if we had moderators from different time zones so that we had coverage around the clock. With four or five moderators the repsonsibilties will be shared and MORE FUN!
