I haven't tried the satin, but I did try the glossy.  I found the
results only OK.  The dark tones were not nearly as good as the Premium
Plus.  I used a custom profile as well.  I suspect it is because the
amount of ink put down was not enough.  I didn't try ink increasing the
ink to see if things improved.  Keep in mind this is "Instant Dry" paper
and your printer is a dye ink printer, which means no longevity unless
you coat or spray the paper.
