I have seen this problem as well. It only happens when I tried to print on 18x24 paper with a full size image, AND (I believe) in landscape mode. A temporary fix was to rotate the photo to portrait mode and then print. Was your print in Landscape? Until recently, I've been printing on 13 x 19 paper, but I've just started to use 18 x 24, or at least try to. The problem is that when I try to print a full-size image or, more exactly, approximately 23 x 16, it prints in bands of about one inch each, contiguous, but in a scrambled order.
