I was able to upgrade to latest firmware on Leopard. The print drivers
do indeed appear to be part of the OS distribution, so you don't need
to install any software for the printer -- a nice improvement.
So far so good.
To see the Color Center and calibration tools go to:
System Preferences -> Print & Fax -> Choose Z3100 -> Open Print Queue -
> Utility -> HP Color Center -> Calibrate your printer.
Also, when printing from Photoshop, when you print you'll get
Photoshops dialog first, then choose Print... to get the Mac print
dialog. Don't forget to open the disclosure triangle to reveal all the
Z3100 specific print options.
