Hello Richard, There is no need to remove the cartridges. The design of the DJ 130 ink system is such that all the parts such as printheads, cartridges, and the ink delivery tubes will seal themselves up upon disconnect.
In my experience the only ink that may spill all over the place is from area that holds ink collected from head cleaning operations. This is unlikely with the DJ printers, but with Epsons which tend to create much ink waste there might be problems if the printer is accidentally transported on one of its sides. --nick --- In [email protected], Richard Todd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I will be moving about a block from where I live now and must move my > DJ 130 as well.
