I have spent a couple of hours trying to get my Designjet 130 to work with the 3" paper roll without an adaptor (as per a suggestion offered by someone yesterday) and every time the front edge of the roll of paper feeds in successfully about 12" or so - and then the printer turns itself off, then a moment later it turns itself on -- and the roll feed error icons are flashing. I'm not sure what's wrong but strongly suspect that that particular paper (Innova FibaPrint Ultra Smooth Gloss) requires a spindle adaptor (anyway, I hope that's what the problem is!!). I will purchase spindle adaptors tomorrow. I tried to get them from your website but couldn't figure out how to order. I'll call in the AM. HP has std 2 to 3" spindle adaptors that work Epson ones work as well, or Encad one,.... Check ebay. They all are held by friction and work fine. If tabs are on them and in the way, just snap them off.
