Thank you for admitting me to your group. I appreciate it, and also appreciate
the information and assistance available here.
My printer collection includes a couple of the 'All-In-Ones"that we use in our
home office, three 932Cs with duplexers which are used to print my 'blurb
sheets', a Business Inkjet 2600 with duplexer which was used for 'blurb sheets'
and larger posters for displays, and a Designjet 330 plotter which I converted
to color (350C).
I manufacture the 'wanna be world famous' CardioTrek Walking Sticks which can
be seen at www.CardioTrek.com as a side thing. ( No, I haven't been able to
quit my day job, but my friends have stopped grinning and shakinig their heads
at me. )
I also do all the support work, ie, design, constuct, and package the sticks,
come up with the blurbs for handouts, built the website, make posters for
shows, and so forth. Pretty much a 'one man show', with a lot of help from my
wife.
My issues .... (yes, she says that I hame several of them ... )
My Business Inkjet 2600 had a leaking cartridge which soaked the board
down below the cartridge area .... I dried it, cleaned it, but there's still an
error message to "Restart the machine" when it POSTs. I figure that it (the
board) is fried.
My Designjet 330 plotter just flashes all the lights when powered up.
This machine worked fine just before we moved. I was careful with it when
moving - no bumps or drops. While the lights flash, the roller feeds paper
forward. I removed the paper sensor and it seems to be functioning
properly.... I don't see anything in "the works" that seems wrong ... so, I'm
stuck on this one.
So, there we are. Your suggestions will be appreciated.
