I had exactly the same issue as you have with my DJ130. This was about a year
and a half ago. At the time, I just purchased the printer and only had it for
about 3 months. The other problem I had was with the feed rollers making
grooves on the photo paper which were visible at an angle.

In doing my research for this printer, I purchased it as it was relatively
inexpensive for the size and got a number of good reviews for being frugal on
ink.

After 3 attempts to fix these issues HP was not able to repair the printer to
my or HP tech's satisfaction. At that time, I requested that HP take back the
printer. After some time, they agreed. I got my money back, but HP would not
refund the taxes paid on the printer (strange).

The replacement for this 24 inch printer was the Canon IP6250 machine. I could
not be happier with this product. Instead of rollers, the technology of this
machine is using vacuum to hold the paper down under the print head. The Canon
has 12 ink cartridges and I was able to find compatible product which worked
great after internal printer calibration.

Anyway, sorry I don't have an answer for you. I don't think the profile is the
problem with edge issues you are seeing. It does look like the color is uniform
throughout the area, so if it had to do with the profile, the issue should be
throughout the width of the print and not just on the edges.
