Reproduced in 0.9.9, so it is not new breakage. Not reproduced in 0.9.7, it was introduced either in 0.9.8 or 0.9.9. It results on stuck jobs, stuck hpijs, stuck gs, and hpiod may cause a severe local DoS if the syslog daemon is not smart enough to start rejecting hpiod errors (filled up 2GB of logs in about 5 minutes with the jobs stuck).
