I was having an "Internal Error" when trying to use hp-sendfax. I took a look and found that device.py expected to get the channel-id back when running ChannelOpen. device.cpp doesn't send back the channel-id though, causing the error.
I patched device.cpp to return channel-id, and now hp-sendfax gets further, but still no go. I just started looking at the hplip code a day or two ago, so I'm not too familiar with it.
