This is a case where USB enumeration of the Model is different from the Model field in the deviceID. We will add a "PSC_950xi" entry in models.xml to fix this issue.
With libusb HPLIP uses USB enumeration for device discovery instead of deviceID. USB enumeration is faster and always gives a serial number. We are locating a PSC 950 to test faxing. -dave > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > Till Kamppeter > Sent: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 11:23 AM > To: Suffield, David > Cc: hplip-devel@lists.sourceforge.net; > hplip-help@lists.sourceforge.net; hplip; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Inkjet-list] HPLIP 0.9.11: REGRESSION: HP PSC 950xi > does not workany more > > > Oi, > > I tried to set up the HP PSC 950xi.
