There's a trivial fault in fax/backend/hpfax.py, whereby if no local printer is found it returns a blank line instead of the no_device_found message. This causes hp-setup to be unable to setup a fax queue on hosts that only use remote printers. Attached is a patch which corrects it for release 1.6.6-1. I'm not subscribed to this list but trust that it is the correct forum for reporting bugs and fixes. Would one of you kind folk please let me know if this is not the case.
