Hi, I have an HP PhotoSmart 8700 9-ink wide format printer for testing now (from HP France). The printer works well (for example I cleaned the nearly completely clogged cartridges with the hp-toolbox), but the PPD generated from the Foomatic database (foomatic-db-hpijs) is missing the big paper sizes. I have hacked A3 into the PPD and could successfully print on A3 paper then, so the HPIJS driver is OK, so only the paper size entries in the PPD are missing.
I have now corrected the HP PhotoSmart 8700 in the Bazaar repository of the foomatic-db-hpijs package, but it is possible that the maximum paper size is not set correctly also for other printer models.
