I am able to print, I'm just not able to scan with my printer. when running hp toolbox, following error occurrs: No installation HP devices found. To install a device use the CUPS web interface or printer installation that came with your operating system. After setting up the device you must press f6 or device |refresh all for the printer to appear in HP device manager.
Cups web interface has following info: Description: Location: Make and Model: HP PSC 2175 Foomatic/hpijs (recommended) - HPLIP 0.9.7 Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published. Device URI: hp:/usb/PSC_2170_Series?serial=MY38MF61HX73 Print Test Page Stop Printer Reject Jobs Move All Jobs Cancel All Jobs Unpublish Printer I'm able to print just fine. If i do sane-find-scanner scanner is found, but scanimage -L does not find my scanner.
