The only real use of "-l" is for debugging purposes. For all other normal
use by a user, you would never specify any "-l" parameter at all. And, the
only "-l" parameter that is truly useful is "-ldebug" (also can be specified
as "-g"). Please note that the "-l" parameter is working as designed -
"-lerror" only shows errors, "-lwarn" shows only errors and warnings, etc.

using hp-check -lerror, it displays only the "error: not found" in terminal,

not the best result the customers want, at least it should display the

If using hp-probe -lnone (or -lwarn, -lerror), no printers will be

it's not acceptable.
As for the inconsistency, when using hp-makeuri -lnone 001:002, it still
displays the URI of the usb connected printer, I think it's good to and can
be accepted.
