When I click on the "Print" button in the hp-toolbox I get a dialog with 
tabs to choose files and to add options for how the files should be 
printed, but what is missing are the options of the PPD file of the 
printer. So I am not able toaccess printer-specific functions, like 
paper trays, toner saving, printing on CDs, ... With CUPS this should be 
easy to implement, and as many applications have dialogs with access to 
PPD options (OpenOffice, KDE apps, GNOME apps with GTK 2.10 or newer, 
...) I think the printing software supplied by the printer manufacturer 
should also give access to the complete functionality of the printer.
