Hi, I was searching this list for any explanation why hpijs wouldn't be anymore distributed as a self-contained archive, but didn't succeed in finding anything.
A standalone hpijs is quite useful given the fact that there are still a lot of people not using CUPS; packaging systems however aren't really suitible for doing such selective builds as described in the FAQ. Please think over your current policy and provide hpijs as formerly in a single small tarball. Some BSD's are still using comparably old versions because it's just too much of a hassle to package it this way right now.
