First, I want to thank you all for such great work in supporting HP printers under Linux! I can print/scan/photocard wonderfully under Mandriva 2007.1 to my C6180.
I have not tried the fax functionality until today and located a problem. After much troubleshooting I found what is happening (but not the solution). If I fax just regular documents from hp-sendfax, everything works... UNLESS I try to use a coversheet. If I add a coversheet, then SEND the fax, the program dies. I ran it in debug mode and I am including the debug info below. I don't know if the problem is in hplip, Mandriva's implementation of it, or a problem with the included python, or something else; so I have no idea where to start with reporting the problem. # uname
